Eligibility for Application
- Age Limit: On 01 January 2022, the age should be 16 years 6 months to 21 years. No affidavit will be admissible in case of age proof.

- Education Qualification: Must pass SSC and HSC (Science)/equivalent examinations with a minimum GPA of 4.50. In both examinations, candidates must have a minimum GP of 4.00 in Mathematics and Physics.
Note: 2021 HSC/equivalent candidates can also apply. However, the results must be published before joining.
- Marital status: Unmarried.
- Nationality: Bangladeshi.
Disqualification
1. Candidates cannot apply if they are dismissed or removed from any government service.
2. Candidates cannot apply if they are screened out twice by ISSB.
3. Candidates cannot apply if disqualified by the Medical Board.
4. Convicted person from any court can’t apply.
5. Incomplete, defective, and multiple applications in one name will be considered rejected.
Nomination procedure
1. Primary health check-ups and interviews will be held at Dhaka, Chittagong, and Khulna center from 06 to 10 June 2021.
2. Candidates can participate in the written test if they are deemed suitable in the primary health check-ups and interviews. The written test will be held on 11 June 2021.
3. Applicants will have to participate in the ISSB exam if they pass the written exam.
4. Candidates will have to participate in the final health examination during the ISSB examination.
5. The final nominees will join the work in the first week of January 2020. Candidates will join Bangladesh Naval Academy, Patenga, Chittagong as Officer Cadets.
