Polytechnic Admission Circular 2025

The Bangladesh Technical Education Board is a governmental regulatory body in charge of overseeing and advancing technical and vocational education at the secondary level (SSC), 2-year higher secondary level (HSC/Vocational), 4-year Diploma in Engineering degree, and 4-year Diploma in Medical Technology degree levels in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The board establishes the curriculum, creates learning materials, and gives affiliation to technical and vocational institutions. Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) has released the 2025–2026 polytechnic admissions circular, as it does every year. The admission form can be filled out by interested individuals by according to the admission requirements.

Government Polytechnic Institutes (4 Year Course)

Curriculum	Admission Requirements
Diploma in Engineering	Boy- Those who passed SSC/equivalent board exam must get at least a GP of 3.00 in General/Higher Math and a GPA of 3.50 in total Girl- Those who passed SSC/equivalent board exam must get at least a GP of 3.00 in General/Higher Math and a GPA of 3.00 in total
Diploma in Textile Engineering
Diploma in Agriculture	Those who passed SSC/equivalent board exam must get at least a GPA of 2.50 but those who got 3.00 in the ‘Biology’ subject will get the priority in ‘Diploma in Livestock’.
Diploma in Forestry
Diploma in Livestock
Diploma in Fisheries

Non-Government Polytechnic Institutes (4 Year Course)

Curriculum	Admission Requirements
Diploma in Engineering	Those who passed SSC/equivalent board exam must get at least a GPA of 2.00.

BTEB Online Admission Application System

The whole polytechnic admission process must be finished before ….. but the online application process will end within…… We are mentioning the BTEB online application process below along with some additional details.

• First, go to the official BTEB (Bangladesh Technical Education Board) admission website- btebadmission.gov.bd.
• Then you will get a list of courses you want to get admitted into.
• Click on the course name you want to get in and you will get some additional information related to the online application.
• To begin the application procedure, click on the Apply Now button.
• Fill up the form with the required information and finish the whole application process by providing all legal information.

Image- The applicant will have to provide a recently taken colorful image in JPEG format. The resolution is 150px x 120px and the size must be less than 50 kb.

Application Fee: For the polytechnic admission online application the applicant will have to pay the amount of 160 Tk through an online payment gateway.

Confirmation Fee: To confirm the admission you must pay a fee.
