National Merit List and Candidate Selection for Medical Colleges:
Admission to Government Medical Colleges: Candidates will be chosen based on their national merit, with certain seats reserved for freedom fighters, ethnic minorities, and indigenous groups. A waiting list will also be created, and candidates will be selected for reserved seats and their respective classes based on merit. Chosen candidates can pick their preferred colleges.
Exam Results: Results will be sent via SMS, and you can also check them on www.dgme.gov.bd and www.dghs.gov.bd.
Freedom Fighter Quota: 2% of total seats are reserved for freedom fighters and their descendants. They can apply within this quota.
Private Medical Colleges: Admission notices for private medical colleges will be announced after government medical college results. Candidates scoring below 40 marks won’t be eligible.
