46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary exam may take place before the start of Ramadan, according to a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC). According to the BPSC notice, 46 BCS Preliminary exam will be held on 26 April 2024.
The application process for the 46th BCS began on December 10 and received applications from over 338,000 candidates until December 31.
In this BCS, a total of 3,140 positions are available. The highest number of positions will be filled in the health cadre, including 1,682 Assistant Surgeons and 16 Assistant Dental Surgeons. The education cadre will see the recruitment of 520 individuals across various subjects. Additionally, positions will be filled in administration (274), foreign affairs (10), police (80), Ansar (14), fisheries (26), and livestock (65).
