Qualifications

Age: 18 years 06 months to 22 years (as on 01 July 2021)
For male candidates
Height: At least 64 inches
Chest size: at least 32 inches wide: 02 inches
For female candidates
Height: At least GD (P) 64 inches
Others: 62 inches
Chest size: at least 28 inches wide: 02 inches
Weight: According to age and height
Eyes: For GD (P) branch candidates, two eyesight is 7/8 and color perception standard I. For other branch candidates as per rules.
Disqualification for candidate
1.Dismissed/removed/ voluntarily resigned from Army/Navy/Air Force and other forces.
2.Convicted by a court of law for any criminal offense.
3.Rejected by CMB or Appellate Medical Board.
4.LASIK is not acceptable if it is done before the age of 19 years.

Training and commission
The commission will be given to the post of Flying Officer after 3 years of training at Bangladesh Air Force Academy including 10 weeks at Bangladesh Military Academy. A total of 04 years bachelor’s degree will be awarded including one year after receiving the commission.

About BAF (Bangladesh Air Force)
The Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Biman Bahini, reporting name: BAF), is that the aerial warfare branch of the Bangladesh soldiers , primarily tasked with the air defence of Bangladesh’s sovereign territory, and providing air support to the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy. Additionally, the service features a territorial role of providing tactical and strategic air transportation and logistics capability for the country.
