The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has fixed BCS preliminary exam date. This was decided at a special meeting of the PSC on Wednesday. A PSC member present at the meeting and told that the 47 BCS Preliminary could be held on May 2024.

ABOUT BCS EXAM
BCS exam is a most competitive examination in Bangladesh Public Service Commission. For recruitment to the various Bangladesh Civil Service cadres. The examination is held on three phases – the preliminary, written and the viva examination. The final result was published 1 to 1.5 years. Eligibility
Eligibility norms for the examination are as follows
Nationality : All candidates must be Bangladeshi citizens.
Age: maximum age 21 to 32 years (for all kinds of applicants)
Academic: At least 4-year bachelor’s degree after Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Exam. if any candidates third class in any academic phase is considered as disqualification of a candidate.
BCS Recruitment Process
Part 1: Preliminary
Preliminary examination held in May/June every year. This Notification is published about one month before the exam. Preliminary Results published about one month after the exam.
Part 2: Written
Written examination is the main test, usually held in October/November/December every year. Notification is published about one month before the exam. Results are published 6 to 10 months after the exam.
Part 3: Viva
Viva (Interview) It is the oral test and is held after the publication of written result.
Final result is published about 1.5 to 2 months after finishing the viva exam
