Bangladesh University of Professionals Admission Written Result
The BUP Admission Authority has scheduled the admission tests for their chosen candidates on March 24th and 25th, 2023. Following the admission test, the university will release a selection result for admission. Only students who have secured a position in the “BUP Written Result 2023” will be eligible to participate in the Viva-Voce, which is expected to take place in the last week of March. BUP Merit List Result Evaluation Process
The final merit list result for BUP admission will be determined by evaluating the results of the various steps in the admission process. Below are the calculation processes for each step:
- Written Test – 65%
- Oral Test (Viva) – 15%
- HSC/Equivalent Result – 5%
- SSC/Equivalent Result – 15%
Important Documents to participate in Viva
Candidates selected for the written admission test of all the units are requested to bring the following documents (both original and photocopy) with them when they come to BUP as per schedule:
➤ SSC/equivalent Certificate and Mark Sheet (Original Copy and One set Photocopy).
➤ HSC/equivalent Certificate and Mark Sheet (Original Copy and One set Photocopy).
➤ Children/Grandchildren of Freedom Fighter must bring Gazette/Valid documents in support of Freedom Fighter quota (Original Copy and One set Photocopy).
➤ Children of Military personnel must bring “To Whom It May Concern Certificate from the respective Unit/Head Quarter/Establishment/CORO (Original Copy and One set Photocopy).
➤ Citizenship Certificate from UP Chairman/Ward Councilor.
➤ Admission Test Admit Card (2 copies).
➤ PP size recent colored photograph (3 copies)
If any candidate has selected for viva-voce in multiple faculty, then he/she will appear all viva-voce on the same day. Each faculty will remain ready to conduct viva. Candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time with proper attire.
Admission Cancellation Procedure
Students can cancel their admission at any time following the prescribed procedure but the authorities will deduct a certain amount of money for that process and deduct the money depending on the duration of admission. Note that the admission application fee is not included in the refund. Here are the following cut-off rates-
✓ Before the starting date of the orientation class: 90% money of the total admission fee can be refunded.
✓ From 1-15 days of class start: 75% money of the total admission fee may be refunded.
✓ From 16-30 days of class start: 50% money of the total admission fee may be refunded.
✓ 30 days after the start of class: No amount will be refunded.
