BUTEX Eligible List 2025-2026

Bangladesh University of Textiles which short name is BUTEX . It is a public university and it situated in Tejgaon, Dhaka. In Bangladesh it is only public university which contribute  to spread out textile engineering. At present it has nine government textile engineering affiliated colleges each of which is textile based institutes of technology. Bangladesh University of Textile (BUTEX)  has 600 seats. Also the university has 10 departments. They are Yarn Engineering, Fabric Engineering, Wet Processing Engineering, Apparel Engineering, Textile Engineering Management, Textile Fashion and Design, Industrial and Production Engineering, Textile Machinery Design and Maintenance, Dyes and Chemicals Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering. BUTEX Primary Selection Result 2026

For the academic session 2025-26 the interested candidates applied from 11 November, 2025 to 11 December, 2025. To apply the candidates had to be the citizen of Bangladesh and had to pass of HSC exam in 2025. All of the candidates needed to pass HSC/equivalent and SSC/equivalent exams from the science group. The students had to pass with a minimum GPA of 4.00 individually in HSC/equivalent and SSC/equivalent exams. It is a matter of joy that this year a big amount of students applied for butex exam but this year about 14000 students will be qualified for butex admission.

From the circular we have seen that this year butex primary selection result will be on 21 December, 2025.Those who will  select only they can download admit card and attend in the admission test. The admission test will be held on 09 January 2026.

Attending in the exam the online application started from 11 November, 2025. and from the about forty days application a big amount applicants applied. They had to pay primary application fee was three hundred taka and finally application was one thousand taka. The admit card download date was 23 to 30 December, 2025. In the session of 2025-26, 14000 students will qualify  for appearing in the Bangladesh University of Textile (BUTEX) exam. It’s one of the best institute for engineering  students .Eligible students must collect admit card   . And the  admit card will cost Tk 1200. Again the students must remember that they should upload signature and their photo for admit card download. Eligible candidates can  download admit card through the admission website but.teletalk.com.bd.Admit card download is available from 23 to 30 December, 2025 .BUTEX admission test is scheduled for 09 January 2026 It will be held  between 9:30am to 11:30am. And result is supposed to be published in the site of butex on 25 January 2026.
