Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has declared the class schedules for VI to IX for the 2024 academic year. Exam will be held on December and for the exam the syllabus will short. Special Instructions for Schools

  • The rules mentioned in the routine for classes from 6 to 9should be followed as directed. However, if necessary, schools can interchange the periods of subjects within the same day.
  • For the class 10, each school must organize their subjects according to their convenience and establish a complete class routine based on the mentioned days and times.
  • As per the class routines for classes ninth and tenth, an extra class needs to be taken during the seventh period. Activities related to the subjects mentioned in the routine, like group work, presentations, practical work, or assignments, should be completed during the seventh period. Yet, if required, tasks from other subjects can also be done during that period.
  • Classes from first to third will be 60 minutes long, fourth to sixth will be 50 minutes long, and the seventh period will be 45 minutes long.
  • Every school must include singing the national anthem in their daily assembly. Additionally, schools can plan various presentations like songs, dramas, recitations, dances, and more during assembly time based on their plans to enhance the gathering. However, the session time cannot be reduced in any way.
  • No changes can be made to the number of sessions for any subject from classes sixth to ninth mentioned in the routine.
  • National observance days (February 21, March 17, March 26, April 14, August 15, December 16) are included in the academic calendar. Instead of following the session routine on these days, schools will conduct different subject-related programs. Teachers involved in these subjects must plan and guide the school programs for these days in advance, aiming to provide valuable experiences to the students.
  • Qualified teachers will be responsible for conducting sessions in classes from sixth to ninth. Each teacher will be accountable for one subject in one class. No more than one teacher will be responsible for the same subject in the same class. Teachers who have received training in specific subjects will lead the related session/class activities.
