The public relations department of the Dhaka University informed that DU KHA unit admission result will announce on last January 2025 . It may be mentioned that the admission test of the ‘B’ unit of the first year undergraduate (honors) of the 2024-2025 academic year of Dhaka University (DU) was held on 25 January 2025. According to the statistics,1,25,418 students took part in the DU Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit admission test. Where the total number of seats is 2,938 and 43 students competed for each seat. Things to be noted that the students of Humanities cannot get admitted into the mentioned 1-10 faculties from D Unit.
KHA Unit Pass Marks
The minimum passing score for Dhaka University’s B unit is 40 out of 100. If a candidate does not receive 40 points, they will not be placed in the DU B unit Merit result 2025. At the same time, the candidate will be deemed to have passed the MCQ portion of the entrance test if they receive at least 24 marks overall and at least 05 marks in Bengali, 05 marks in English, and 10 marks in general knowledge.
In the written exam, candidates must achieve a minimum of 11 marks. There must be at least 05 of them in Bengali and at least 05 in General English. In the case of a “A” level, the aforementioned conditions will also apply.
Merit Score Calculation
The preparation of the applicants’ DU KHA unit merit list 2025 will be based on 120 numbers (MCQ: 80, written: 40, HSC/equivalent result: 10, SSC/equivalent result: 10). To calculate this, multiply the students’ SSC and/or equivalent exam GPAs by 2 and their HSC and/or equivalent exam GPAs by 2. The outcome of these two multiple-choice questions and the written portion will be added to the score attained in the admission examination, which carries 100 points, to determine the examinee’s merit score, which is calculated using a 120-point scale.
