The National University of Bangladesh was established in 1992, 29 years ago from today by an Act of Parliament. Students get to graduate and post-graduate level education through its affiliated colleges and professional institutions. According to the last NU update, the 2^nd merit list of National University admission 2020-2021 was published on 19 September 2021.

The students who could not get a safe place according to their choice, mainly apply for a release slip. NU release slip has not been published yet. Since the National University admission, 2020-2021 update shows that 1^st and 2^nd merit lists have appeared online, you will get the NU release slip shortly.

Eligible Candidates

The government of Bangladesh is trying to improve the quality of the education system through proper maintaining. They are considering the preference of the students. The students who are on the merit list of the NU release slip 2021, are eligible to apply for the release slip. Candidates can apply for the release slip after reconsidering certain reasons.

• If the student could not get into the merit list of National University admission result 2021.
• If the student has cancelled his Honours 1st-year admission.
• If the student does not want to get admitted into the college he was selected for, even after getting a place on the merit list.

After considering all these reasons, a student can apply for the release slip. He can apply for five new colleges and also can select the subject he wants to get admitted into.

How to Apply for the NU Admission Release slip 

After the NU authority publishes the National University Honours Admission Release slip Application result 2021 on their official website, there are some essential steps you need to follow. First, you need to find out if you got a place in the merit list of the 1^st release slip or not. If you are on the merit list follow these steps:

• You need to check the merit list of the 1^st release slip.
• If you are on the merit list, visit the National University official website nu.ac.bd/admissions.
• Now click on the applicant login button.
• Honours log in option will appear, enter your Application Roll and PIN number and click on the submit button.
• Fill up the ultimate admission form and download it. Then print the application form
• You have to pay the 485 TK registration fee and submit the print copy of the National University admission form to the college authority.

Apply for Release Slip

Please keep a sharp eye on the official website of National University- www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. They regularly update notifications on the notice board. As soon as the release slip of the National University admission result in 2021 notice appears on the website, proceed for application.

The authority of the National University has already published the 1^st and 2^nd merit list of NU admission result 2021. The 1^st merit list was published on 30^th August 2021 and the 2^nd merit list just aired online today 19^th September 2021.

• The students of the 1^st merit list, who want to change their subject, must download the application form and submit it within 19^th September 2021 – 26 September 2021. The students do not have to pay any kind of fee for changing their subjects.
• The students of the 2^nd merit list must fill-up the admission form and download it within 19^th – 26^th To fill-up the form, the applicant has to log into the NU official website, download the form after filling up the information.
• The fee submission date limit of the 2^nd merit list’s student is 20^th-27^th September 2021. The students can pay the fee through mobile banking. After paying the fee, you have to download the Pay Slip from the website and you have to submit the Pay Slip within 29^th September 2021 – 05^th October 2021.

Note to mention that, if a student is already admitted into another College of 2019-20 session, then he must cancel the admission of the previous session. He has to cancel the admission and get admitted into the selected college before 26^th September 2021.
