SUST Admission Result 2021-2022

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) admission procedure directly controlled by GST Cluster admission system. Like previous years, candidates appeared admission test at once through GST combined admission then they can apply any enlisted universities. According to the central notice, SUST admission application has ended on 27 October 2022. This year about 32,313 candidates applied for 1566 seat. However, before going to the details of SUST admission 2022, we shed light on the basic information.

SUST Result 2022

Based on the GST admission result & academic background of the Universities Integrated Admission Test, a merit list for the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology has been released. For Groups 1 and 2 of the A-Unit, separate merit lists have been released. For the B-Science, unit’s Humanities, and Business Studies groups, separate merit lists will be released. Drawing and architectural general knowledge test scores will be taken into account when determining the merit list for group 2 of the A-unit. SUST A Unit Merit List Result 2022

SUST A unit mainly focused on engineering subjects and there are 19 science based subjects. Canidates who passed from science group, they applied for this unit. However, to get the SUST A unit Merit result, click the below link for PDF link.

SUST B Unit Merit List Result 2022

Candidate selection and admission process

  •  Group (Science, Humanities, Commerce) based Merit and Departmental Preference of Applicants
    Applicants will be assigned the admission category. Marks obtained in GST examination will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit list. But marks obtained in GST examination and drawing in case of merit list of architecture department and general knowledge test marks in architecture will be taken into consideration.
  • The migration process will continue subject to the availability of seats.
  • The overall admission process will be completed in two phases. 5000/- (five thousand) rupees (to be adjusted later) for the admission process fee at the initial stage and submit the original marksheet of SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination. Students seeking admission in reserved seats should bring the original certificate issued by the concerned authority.
  • In the second step, the admission should be confirmed by depositing the remaining admission fee (after adjustment of Rs. 5000/-) at the final stage.
  • If any information related to the application for admission is found to be false, incorrect or incomplete, the application will be canceled immediately. Even if any mistake/false information is found in the application form after admission, the admission of the admitted student will be canceled and legal action will be taken against the concerned candidate if false information is proved. All students will be subjected to deep test before admission. Any student found drug addict in dip test will lose admission.

Quota Related Information

Students will be admitted on the basis of merit based on the recommendation of 1 (one) person from each ethnic group in the Handicapped Quota considering the type, degree and categories of the handicapped and in Minority/Ethnicity/Harijan-Dalit quota. If the allotted seats are vacant in the respective quota, the students will be admitted again on the basis of merit in Minority/Ethnicity/Harijan Dalit quota.
