41st and 42nd BCS admit cards are now available. As always, the BCS admit card has been published on the bpsc.teletalk.com.bd website. Candidates interested in participating in the 43rd BCS exam are still applying online, so the admit card for the 43rd BCS exam has not been published yet.

No BCS candidate can participate in preliminary or written exam without admit card. Therefore, it is very important to download and keep your admit card.

Many of us have already downloaded the admit card and many of us may not have or do not know how to download the admit card. Now we will see BCS admit card download process in detail.

43rd BCS Admit Card Download

To download the 43rd BCS Admit Card Download, first you have to go to this link: bpsc.teletalk.com.bd.

      • After entering the link, click the “43 BCS Examination” option under the heading “Admit Card / Applicant’s Copy” from the bottom of the page.
      • After clicking the “43 rd BCS Examination” option, we will see a webpage like below.

      • The User ID and Password obtained while applying online is entered in the User ID and Password box of the page displayed on the screen.
      • And then click on the “Submit” button. Clicking on the “Submit” button will start downloading the desired admit card.

43rd BCS admit card has not been published yet. But when it is published, to download the admit card, as before, first we have to enter bpsc.teletalk.com.bd in this link.

BCS Examination

The BCS examination or Bangladesh Civil Service Examination is a nationwide competitive examination conducted by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) for the recruitment of 26 posts including BCS (Administration), BCS (Tax), BCS (Foreign) and BCS (Police) of Bangladesh Civil Service. Which was 27 earlier, in 2018 the economic cadre was merged with the administration cadre.

The BCS examination is conducted in three stages – Preliminary Examination (MCQ), Written Examination and Viva Examination (Interview). It takes 1.5 to 2 years to complete the entire process from the publication of the test notification to the final result.

BCS Examination Process:

The Bangladesh Civil Service Examination was conducted during the British rule based on the Imperial Civil Service of the British Indian Government. The BCS exam is considered to be the biggest competitive exam held for job seekers in Bangladesh. An average of 150,000 to 225,000 candidates apply each year, which is about 90% of the job seekers of the year.

The average success rate of all cadres in the examination is 0.02% and in the case of general cadre which is 0.005%, although the rate varies from year to year.

First Step: Preliminary Test – This is the preliminary qualifying round of BCS exam. This test is usually held in May / June every year. The notification is published one month before the test and the results are published about one to one and a half months after the test.

Second Step: Written Test – This is the main test of BCS, usually held in October / November / December of each year. The notice for the test is published about a month before and the results are usually published about 2 to 3 months after the test.

Third Step: Oral Test (Interview) – The oral test is held after the results of the written test are published. The final results of the BCS exam are published 1.5 to 2 months after the oral exam.

Qualification:

After passing the Higher Secondary, one can apply for the BCS examination even if one has passed the Honors for four years. If one is in a three-year honors or pass course, he or she must have a master’s pass. If there is more than one third class in education life, they are ineligible to apply for BCS examination.
