Sheikh Hasina University is situated at Netrakona established in 2019. They have announced the 2020-2021 academic year admission notice. This is a great opportunity for those students who are scared about high profile universities in Bangladesh. There are 4 departments under 3 Faculty with a little number of seats.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants who have passed their SSC/equivalent exam in 2017 or 2018 and HSC/equivalent exam in 2018 or 2019 can apply for 2020-2021 academic year admission.
In addition to meeting the requirements mentioned above, students must have thematic qualifications.
A Unit ( Faculty of Engineering & Technology) – Candidates must participate in GST Admission Test and have a minimum B grade in Mathematics in HSC / equivalent exam.
B Unit ( Arts Faculty & Social Science Faculty)
Bangla Department: Candidates must have a minimum B grade in Bengali in HSC / equivalent examination for admission in this subject.
English Department: Candidates must have a minimum B grade in English in HSC / equivalent examination for admission in this subject.
Economics Department: For admission in this subject candidates should have a minimum B grade in any one of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics in HSC / equivalent examination.

Application Fee Payment Procedure
- The application fee for each unit or faculty is 600 taka + service charge has to be paid.
- Application fees can be submitted through Mobile Banking (Rocket). Service charge of 1% is applicable in case of payment through Rocket. In other words, if the application fee is 1% of 600 / – then it is 6 taka.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 606 taka in his rocket account.

Quota Application Conditions
Quota applicants will select the quota option when applying online. Total 4 quota option is available on the application form. These are-
- Freedom Fighter Quota (FFQ) (Freedom Fighter’s Child Freedom Fighter’s Child)
- Special Needs (Disabled) Quota (DQ)
- Minority Ethnic / Tribal / Indigenous Quota (EMQ)
- Adjacent Quota ( WQ).
Those who will apply for the specified quota option at the time of application for admission will have to submit the application along with the required documents for admission in the said quota to the concerned unit office within 7 days of publication of the merit list. Note that in case of Muktijeddha quota, the certificate issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, in case of minority ethnic/tribal/tribal quota, certificate of self-employed tribal chief/deputy commissioner, special needs (social service in case of disabled quota)
Methods of Creating Merit List
Unit-based merit list will be prepared on the basis of mat number obtained in the admission test of GST group universities and students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list.
