SSC Short Syllabus 2026

Due to the unexpected situation of our country , all educational institutions were closed for 14 months. During this long period, new dates for opening educational institutions were announced at various times. But it was not possible to open educational institutions because the corona infection was not declining.

Once again, based on the current situation, the Ministry of Education has decided to open an educational institution. All educational institutions has changed a new syllabus but now the government has decided they will change syllabus . This decision will only be effective if the corona infection remains as low as it is now. After the opening of the educational institutions, the SSC candidates of 2026 will be studied according to this SSC short syllabus.

According to a report of the Bangla Tribune news portal, the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB for short) has sent this new short syllabus to the Bangladesh education board. SSC Exam Date 2026

According to a notice issued by the Dhaka Education Board, all educational institutions will announced on 28 December 2024.

Education Minister Dipu Moni said in a press briefing, after opening the educational institutions, classes will start according to the new syllabus for 150 days. This new short syllabus 2026 has been designed to be completed in 150 days. After taking classes for 150 days, the SSC examination of 2026 will be held.

If we calculate the date according to the current situation, the probable date for holding the SSC exam 2026 is April of this year. Within this period, the SSC examination may be held.

 Reason for Creating Short Syllabus

The Ministry of Education has decided to take the SSC exam 2026 according to the short syllabus as the educational institution has been closed for 14 months. The way it was decided to take SSC exam 2026 in the short syllabus.

For this, NCTB team works to shorten the 9th and 10th class syllabus and prepare a short syllabus. This decision has been taken by the Ministry of Education as the students could not take regular classes.
