SSC and HSC Exam Date 2024 – (Official Notice)
Education in Bangladesh, like in many places, has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride due to COVID-19 and other issues. But now, there’s some good news. The Education Minister, Dipu Moni, has revealed a plan for the 2024 exams. They want to bring back a regular timetable, so students know exactly when their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams will happen.
In the past, these exams had to be moved around a lot because of COVID-19 and natural disasters. It was tough on students and teachers. The minister hopes that starting next year, they can stick to the plan.
The minister also mentioned something important. She said that in the last five years, there haven’t been any leaks of exam questions. That’s great news! They’ve been working hard to make sure exams are fair.

HSC & SSC Exam 2023
In 2023, HSC exams for eight general boards started on time. The first day had students taking the Bangla first paper exam. This year, there are more students taking the HSC exams—about 1,55,935 more than last year!
The written HSC exams will run until September 25, and the practical exams will be from September 26 to October 4. These dates were set to make up for lost time because of COVID-19.
It’s also good to know that the 2023 HSC exams are a bit different. They follow a revised curriculum, while the SSC exams are based on the full curriculum. This is because of the challenges caused by the pandemic.
